The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team.  This position reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with the Business Unit Managers.  The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of the Equipment Business financial results as well as assisting with the Forecasting and Budgeting of future results.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The preparation and analysis of weekly revenue forecasting projections for leadership team.
  • The preparation and delivery of performance reporting including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and comparative analysis to benchmarks that will drive key business
  • Support leadership and other key customers by performing analysis and effectively communicating key takeaways and recommendations
  • Developing strong, collaborative working relationships with business partners across teams and levels
  • Responsible for certain month end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist in the coordination, consolidation, and development of annual budgets, short-term forecasts, and worldwide forecasts of bookings, shipments, margins, and operational expense
  • Applying strong analytical skills, judgement, attention to detail, and creativity to effectively solve problems
  • Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of Year End Audits, Quarterly Kit schedules, Annual Tax Packages, and other required reporting for corporate
  • Prioritizing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
  • Complete ad-hoc requests and perform other duties as needed with minimal oversight in a timely manner


Knowledge, Skills, & Ability Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years experience or a CPA with relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills in responding to the needs of our internal customers and various departments
  • Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, maintains confidentiality
  • Proactive and capable of working as a member of a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to anticipate important timing needs that may impact the company and department.
  • Familiarity with accounting software consolidating, and reporting software 
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) and expert knowledge of grammar, punctuation and editing
