Job Summary/Description:
Responsibilities:
– Supporting the EVP and their interactions with C-Suite Executives, Physicians, Department Chiefs, Board members and National leaders
– This is a great opportunity to work directly with the EVP of Patient Care Operations and will often include interactions with the C-Suite of BCH.
– Managing one extremely active executive calendar, frequently subject to same-day changes due to rapidly shifting clinical, operational and regulatory priorities. Effective calendar management with consideration of timing, sequencing and meeting location/travel requirements.
– Planning, preparing and organizing logistic and administrative requirements for executive meetings, seminars conferences and special events. Arranging external travel and preparing accurate itineraries.
– Composing correspondence and responsible for taking accurate meeting minutes.
– Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of executive and operational areas of responsibility throughout the Hospital enterprise.
– Organizing and maintaining daily administrative operations of the department, including submission of departmental payroll authorization. Maintaining vacation and travel schedules for Nursing/Patient Care Executive Committee members to facilitate agenda planning.
Qualifications:
– Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Extensive experience may substitute for a degree.
– Minimum of four years of experience as an Executive Assistant, with at least two years supporting a Senior Executive; healthcare experience preferred.
– Must be able to work under pressure and handle a wide variety of simultaneous activities and confidential matters with discretion.
– Must possess advanced/expert level skills with Microsoft Office Applications, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
– Strong writing and editing skills.
