Job Summary:

The Employment Modernization Transformation (EMT) program goal is to improve customer experience with respect to unemployment application, collection, and overall processing. The Project Management Administrator will have the opportunity to support the start of a large, transformative project and utilize their writing, communication, and project management skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD)’s innovative efforts from procurement coordination through the multi-phased (multi-year) implementation 
  • Develop executive presentations, stakeholder communication, product documentation, and design specifications into audience appropriate communication
  • Manage writing and review process to ensure goals and timelines are met
  • Perform data and analytic research; synthesize and analyze complex data sets
  • Plan/schedule meetings, draft material and distribute meeting notes and tasks
  • Make documents fully accessible to the accessibility challenged community

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong MS Office suite skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • At least 1 year of experience with working in a technical/business operations focused role
  • Demonstrated ability in technical writing and both IT and end-user documentation
  • Creativity that translates to easy-to-use documentation across all competency levels
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm for process improvement and operational success
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred candidates will have:
  • Experience working with technical and business subject matter experts
  • Prior experience in an admin role
