A NYC based clothing wholesaler responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of women’s and children’s sportswear is seeking an AP Manager on a direct hire basis. This person will report directly to the controller and manager a staff of two. This person should have at least 5 years of AP experience and 5+ years of experience as an AP manager. They should also have experience dealing with overseas vendors and knowledge of a 3-way match process. This person ideally has worked in apparel merchandise and has experience with MS Dynamic SL and/or BlueCherry system. The duties of this candidate will include managing merchandise payables, letters of credit, expense payables, managing payment processes, and manage a team of two to complete tasks as needed.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- 5+ years of experience as AP manager (managing staff)
- Experience dealing with overseas vendors
Preferred:
- Apparel merchandise experience
- Knowledge of MS Dynamic SL and/or BlueCherry system
