HR Director
Overview:
The Director, HR is responsible for the overall employee experience of US employees. This role will have direct oversight for Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Compliance, and Compensation & Benefits. The Director, HR will report to the VP, HR and will partner with the regional HR Leads in Europe, India, and Japan to ensure alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee relations by partnering with management and being a resource for employees at every level while focusing on employee engagement, resolution of grievances and policy creation/ maintenance.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 HR professionals who specialize in recruitment, engagement, onboarding/ offboarding, and benefits.
- Own the global requisition process and budget in partnership with FP&A.
- Oversee US Benefits Open Enrollment, making recommendations to improve the quality of Anaqua’s benefit plans by considering current trends and industry data.
- Lead the annual employee compensation planning process, including partnering with FP&A on the rollout and analysis of compensation planning and bonus tracking spreadsheets.
- Oversee immigration and manage global mobility initiatives, as needed.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including completion of mandatory reporting.
- Maintain the US employee handbook and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures.
- Participate in pre-acquisition diligence and post- acquisition integration.
- Participate in other team projects and company initiatives as need be.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 12-plus years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of developing HR professionals
- Analytical mindset and a comfort level with large sets of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pay close attention to detail
- High energy personality with an ability to collaborate well with others
- Strong excel skills, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and other functionalities
- Flexibility to work in a global environment and accommodate international time zones
- Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
