Must Have:

  • Bacherlor's degree or its equivalent 
  • 2-4 years of administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power point, and Word

Preferred:

  • Experience with executive scheduling in high stakes environment
  • Higher education industry experience

Job Summary:
This position will  be reporting to the Associate Provost for Administration and Planning. The Administrative Manager
will provide operational support and may also provide programmatic and special projects management for the Office of the Senior Vice Provost (OSVP).
The Manager will be responsible for the complex schedules of the senior members of the OSVP and execute and manage a wide variety of responsibilities pertaining to Operations,
Communications, and unit Finance, liaising with other Provost’s Office units in these areas, as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations for the OSVP, including managing the
complex schedules of the senior members.
• Provide technical and logistical guidance to participants of OSVP meetings, including
senior University administrators, faculty, and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and facilitate recurring financial transactions for the OSVP.
• Liaise with the appropriate University offices and manage external vendors to meet
deliverables for the OSVP, and for other units within the Office of the Provost, as
needed.
Responsibilities may also include:
Project Management and Reporting
• Work closely with the Associate Provosts to administer program development and
maintenance, including developing project timelines, drafting proposals and materials, and
performing basic research.
• Provide comprehensive editorial review of drafted content, contribute to formatting, and
develop and update annual reports and related materials.
• Contribute as a proactive team member to special projects with other staff, as needed.
Communications and Presentations
• Design presentations and visualizations and manage other collaborative
communications projects involving the OSVP and other internal staff.
• Develop materials appropriate for the broader university community and other audiences
to be used in briefings and presentations to be delivered by the Senior Vice Provost,
Associate Provosts, and other key stakeholders
• Prepare and manage highly sensitive and confidential data, materials, and documents to
facilitate decision-making and create reports for the University’s high-level constituents
and other audiences as identified by the Associate Provosts.
• Manage the dissemination of critical notifications, alerts, and announcements for the
OSVP, and for the Office of the Provost as needed, and manage all incoming and
outgoing correspondence for the OSVP.
