Responsibilities
The Office Administrator reports to the Faculty Actions Specialist and Department Director. The position will provide full reception, secretarial and administrative support as required for the effective and efficient operation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: answering the phone, greeting incoming guests, process facility access applications, managing department calendar, filing, data entry, general office and facility supply ordering. Office
administrator is expected to demonstrate: good attention to detail, ability to stay calm under pressure, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. The individual must exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion within the parameters of their responsibilities. Expected to work independently as well as in a team while providing a high level of customer service.
