Job Location: Onsite Fully

            Onsite: Rockville, MD 20852.  Will need to visit centers in Laurel occasionally. Wootton Parkway, Suite 530

Company Info/About: Behavioral Health center that specializes in autism care for children, started in 2019 and rapidly expanding. 2 centers in MD (close to DC) and plans to develop a third one in Chantilly, VA.

 

Interview Process: Initial phone screen and 1 in person interview with hiring manager/CEO.

 

Must Haves: Smart, Good w/ people and managing employee relations, some experience with HR benefits systems. Professionally written resume.

 

 

 

Requirements:

Job Summary/Description:

 

  • Coaching and managing a team of HR professionals
  • Partnering with your colleagues on our Leadership Team to develop, champion, and execute an HR and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Providing support and guidance to HR team members, management, and other team members when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Managing the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborating with department and clinic managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Managing compensation, workers compensation, and benefits programs (i.e., healthcare, supplemental insurance, EAP, 401(k); analyzing trends in compensation and benefits; researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
  • Creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for our team members.
  • Overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment law and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, employment laws, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management
