This client is looking for a Staffing Support Specialist to support the Contingent Workforce Office.


Responsibilities will include the ability to plan, organize and prioritize a varied workload supporting high-volume recruitment efforts for onboarding new contingent workers and transfers

  • Working with recruiters and hiring managers on staffing related activities and background screenings
  • Working with the internal applicant tracking systems to process new onboarding requests
  • Processing and reviewing background screenings using our third-party vendors to ensure screenings are completed and adjudicated in accordance with governing rules and policies
  • Monitoring shared mailbox to answer and route incoming requests and inquires
  • Supporting other recruiting projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed to assist Contingent Workforce Office Team
  • Assisting with analysis of activities related to workflow and activity, may recommend changes to policies and procedures based on findings
  • Serving as a backup for designated positions/functions
  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience and a high school diploma.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to use critical thinking skills to problem solve issues.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office along with various other software applications as needed for the role. SharePoint Online and Workday a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles of Human Resource Management including best practices, concepts, trends, and regulatory issues impacting functional scope of position.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks / projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact on required information and concepts with people at all levels of the organization.
