Job Summary: A large nonprofit serving older New Yorkers is seeking to hire a Program Coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties and coordinating monthly activities and programs.

Client Description:

  • Prepares monthly activities calendar, information materials, and flyers of the senior center programs.
  • Assists Program Director and/or Assistant Program Director in developing appropriate group programs and securing consultants for programming. Attends community, agency, and staff meetings as designated.
  • Answers in-person and telephone inquiries and acts as troubleshooter referring calls as required.
  • Types letters, reports, flyers, and other printed materials as needed.
  • Collects and counts cash. Maintain records and prepares bank deposits.
