A Bronx based nonprofit is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis! The Sr. Accountant will help manage the general accounting function, including Account analysis, GL Maintenance, Cash Reconciliations, Budget analysis and reconciliations. Additionally, the position will function as a backup for billing operations.
Must Haves:
*3+ years of progressive accounting experience
*Nonprofit experience
*Excel
Preferred:
*Fund EZ (strong preference)
*Experience with CFR preparation
*Experience with Medicaid
*Experience with systems related to Department of Human Services & NYS OPWDD
