Job Summary:

The Facilities Assistant will function as back up to facility associate and assist with the overall organizing of people, places and processes within the building

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handles the distribution of all office mail and faxes

  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of supplies to work/breakrooms and purchase within approved budget allocation

  • Maintains office equipment (coffee and copy machines)

  • Assists with the office moves/department re-locations

  • Assists with procurement and budget responsibilities for the Facilities Department

  • Responsible for maintaining Facilities on-boarding documents and keeping them up to date

  • Liaises with HR and Facilities team to follow the processes in place for on/off-boarding employees

  • Manage Facilities Team vendors through good communication and business reviews

  • Demonstrate a leadership role within the Safety Team

  • Oversee all Facilities requests in service portal and ensure items are completed

  • Must be able to assist with ad hoc requests or tasks that are required by the Facilities team or business in order to maintain a safe and successful work environment
