Location: University guidelines currently 3 day in office/2 day remote; can change depending on School needs – Morningside Heights area
Hours:  Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. 35 per week. Non-exempt.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education
  • 3 years progressively related experience
  • Fundraising experience
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Eventbrite registration experience

Preferred:

  • Higher education industry experience

Summary: 

  • Actively assists advancement team in organizing meetings, special events, mailing invitations, coordinating event logistics, etc.
  • Prepares variety of lists and reports from Alumni/Development (ADR) database, including donor giving reports, regional alumni lists, reunion class lists etc.
  • Assists in preparing and sending acknowledgment letters.
  • Updates filing systems and databases

Skills & Knowledge

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Eventbrite registration systems. Strong aptitude for becoming proficient in database management software (CU Athena Web & ADR Data Hub systems)
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize multiple administrative tasks, and work independently.
  • Good judgment and ability to interact with a diverse group of people
  • Discretion and confidentiality with donor-related matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and commitment to professionalism.
