We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Associate – Direct Tax to join our global day business with a focus on US and Federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting requirements. This individual will be reporting to the Tax Manager – US

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who possesses 3-5 years of corporate income tax experience, to be responsible for the complete income tax life cycle including, but not limited to, forecasting the effective tax rate, preparing the quarterly tax provision, preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns, tax research and planning, audit defense, mergers and acquisitions, and so much more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong intellectual curiosity, the flexibility to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Accounting:

? Prepare of quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC740)

? Forecast the effective tax rate for planning and quarterly reporting

? Provide financial analysis to support tax planning initiatives and projects

? Assist with transaction analysis and purchase accounting relating to mergers and acquisitions

? Responsible for income tax accounting and maintenance of tax accounts

? Maintaining, modifying, improving and monitoring compliance with tax department systems and process to ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls under SOX 404

? Assist with special projects

Tax Compliance:

? Prepare the US consolidated federal corporate income tax return filing, including proforma 1120 returns and support the US consolidation, including federal tax return workpapers

? Prepare the state and local income tax returns, including state apportionment and workpapers

? Collecting and analyzing financial information

? Interpreting tax regulations

? Tax preparation calculation of estimated tax payments and extensions for federal and state

? Responsible for timely filing of all returns and estimated payments

? Maintain all tax systems/processes for the compliance and tax reporting functions and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

? Proactively monitor changes in Federal and State tax rules to ensure that appropriate planning,

compliance and reporting actions are taken.

? Respond to inquiries and notices from various taxing authorities

? Assist with the tax technology solutions to automate and streamline tax compliance function

? Maintain calendar of all required tax filings

? Prepare tax account reconciliations quarterly

? Provide tax audit support

? Experience with Tax Compliance Software (OIT)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

? Minimum of 3-5 years of tax experience, “Big 4” or equivalent experience preferred

? Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field

? CPA, MST or MBA preferred

? Experience Federal and multi-state income tax,

? Experience with mergers and acquisition desired

? Strong technical aptitude with Excel and other MS Office Suite tools

? Ability to foster an environment of trust and inclusion, and to maintain good relationships

throughout the organization

? Excellent attention to detail

? Must be able to work independently and be a team player
