Job Summary/Description:
A leading NY nonprofit organization is hiring for Senior Accountant on a direct hire permanent basis. This role will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling GL accounts, analysis of financial records and reports, preparation of financial and statistical reports, and assisting with monthly and yearly closings. The role will also be responsible for integration of Financial Force with the Oracle GL. The ideal candidate for this position has more than 3 years of nonprofit accounting experience and has utilized Financial Force, Quickbooks, and is a strong user of the Microsoft Suite of products. This position is currently fully remote, transitioning to hybrid (TBD), and requires candidates to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Must Haves:
*3-5 years of experience in nonprofit accounting
*Bachelor's degree
*Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot table, vlookup, sumif)
*COVID vax
Preferred:
*Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, Financial-Force, and Quickbooks
*CPA
