Job Title: Transcriptionist
Contract Duration: 6 months, extension highly possible
Job Location: In the office full-time
Part-time and Full-time positions open (min. 30 hours per week)
Flexible start and end times
1st round: Transcription Evaluation/Assessment
2nd round: Onsite interview with hiring manager
- Associates or Bachelors Degree.
- Strong grasp of grammar and spelling.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
Transcribe verbatim audio recordings, single and multi-speaker, of varying dialects, accents, etc. while adhering to guidelines.
Identify and annotate key words and phrases within text.
Annotate audio and text with the “intent” of the speaker.
Adapt to changes in guidelines, priorities, and environments.
Proofread your own work and others’ for accuracy and quality assurance.
- Interpret ambiguous speech and transcribe it as accurately as possible based upon internet research (e.g. locating the full address, finding the exact spelling of persons name, business name, etc.).
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
