Client Job Title:  HR Coordinator

Contract : 4-8 weeks (could be longer)

Job Location: Onsite – 100 Tensolite Dr, St. Augustine, FL 32092

Hours: 8-5 (40 hrs/week)

Team Size: 4 immediate team members (Great HR team is 12)

1) Phone/Video interview with HR Manager

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 2-5 years HR experience required.
  • Prior experience as an HR or Recruiting Assistant;
  • Experience working effectively in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Payforce and eTime preferred
  • Bachelor or Associates degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Recruitment experience strongly preferred

  • Minimum 2-5 years HR experience required.
  • Prior experience as an HR or Recruiting Assistant; recruitment experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

Job Description

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, provides departmental support to the Human Resources Department in the facility, including administrative support in the management and implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Coordinator carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, time keeping, payroll processing, benefit administration, compensation, compliance, performance management, wellness, HR communications, and safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs data entry of employee data into the time keeping and payroll systems
  • Assist employees and management with basic information related to HR forms, benefits, policies and procedures
  • Runs standardized reports and basic queries from the time keeping and payroll systems
  • Acts as primary to ensure prompt and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll and labor tracking systems for all full time and part time employees
  • Manage the recruitment process for non-exempt positions including coordinating temporary agencies, interviews, candidate tours, manager follow up
  • Assist in the recruiting process for exempt positions to include resume review, arranging interviews, sourcing candidates, pre-employment criminal and drug testing, reference checks, posting positions on recruitment sites, manage social media sites, and coordinating job fairs
  • Coordinating the onboarding schedule for direct hires and temporary staff, issue facility badges, issue locks, etc.
  • Completion of I9 Forms and employee verification with EVerify
  • Performs new hire orientations for temporary staff and new hires as needed
  • Performs other duties in Human Resources Department, as required, to include composing and typing correspondence, faxing, photocopying, newsletter, assembling new hire kits, filing, document packets, etc.
  • Completes all VOE’s and unemployment paperwork
  • Scan and save employee personnel records
  • Arranges DOT random drug and alcohol test for employees in safety sensitive positions to maintain compliance with FAA regulations
  • Provides coverage for the receptionist and main phone line as required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are a clean facility housing different kinds of machinery, equipment, processes and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.
