Coordinates and has direct responsibility for a program, project, event or program. Creates and implements administrative systems to manage area of responsibility. Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators. Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget and plans. May maintain a web page, website, or program materials. Requires 2 to 3 years of related experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Able to plan, prioritize, and track work. Basic or better proficiency on common office software.

•Working with the PI and Project Director to plan global meetings
•Managing calendars, arranging for meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
•Assisting with event coordination including the Commission meetings
*Communicating with high level contacts in NGOs and foreign governments
•Using multiple technical applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics and
presentation software, electronic calendar, email, and other technical/scientific applications
•Formatting, proofreading and copy editing reports and presentations, including references
•Preparing and producing financial reports using on-line financial systems, such as reimbursement for travel, corporate
cards, HU Purchasing card, etc.
Assisting in preparation of spreadsheets for budget, including tracking and maintaining expenditures and reconciling
accounts; uses budget tool
•Assisting in coordinating work of study team and maintaining the analysis plan
•Assisting with library/research work and summarize findings
•Disseminating findings via traditional and social media
•Working in close collaboration with QuEST Centers, including managing calls and discussions
using collaboration software.
• Serve as a liaison between the research team and administrative staff of the department
•Provide additional administrative support as needed
•Other duties as assigned
