The Accountant (Commission and Accounts Payable) will assist in the administration of commissions, employee expense reimbursements, and accounts payable. The position will involve processing commission calculations, reviewing employee’s submissions for expense reimbursement and processing vendor invoices, interacting with any personnel for any issues and questions.

Commission Responsibilities

  • Calculate and prepare commissions for our sales force

  • Distribute commission statements via e-mail monthly

  • Communicate with sales representatives to answer any questions on their individual commission as needed

  • Participate in annual review of commission process and plans

Accounts Payable Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone and email vendor inquiries within 24 hours; regularly monitor the AP email inbox for incoming invoices and external inquiries

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy invoice organization

  • Support Accounting team with reconciliations and reporting needs

  • Process checks requests on a regular basis

  • Accurately review, code, and perform data entry associated with accounts payable

  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies

  • Regular filing of accounts payable invoices

  • Process and review W-9’s

  • Review and process employee expense reimbursements via Concur software and company policies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting

  • Proficient Microsoft Office, QuickBooks
