Company Pitch/BackStory/Color:

Small fast growing company. They around for 2 years. (when they hired employee 1). They have 100 employees. 3 locations. Boston, Princeton, San Francisco. Their labs are in CT, Lexington, MA and Boston. Their engineering is split between San Francisco and Boston. Boston is their HQ. They moved to their new office on Boylston right before the pandemic started.

They received $100M Series A funding. They are well into series B. the idea is to create a moderna therapeutics at the core. They are using Machine learning and AI to make them cheaper and quicker. This means they have a full engineering division.

They are looking to double in size in 2021.

  1. person will be working on engineering roles. Their head of technology is based in San Francisco. They REALLY want this person to sit out there with them.

This person needs to have a good network. This company is still figuring their staffing plan. They are still at the base line and they are figuring out what they are looking for next year. They are “building the plane as they fly it”. They don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. Needs to be okay with that. They can’t be frustrated by the lack of systems.

This person needs to be able to build exceptional relationships.

David Barry is the CEO and very inspirational. He was a founder in Flagship.

This person would manage 13-18 reqs.

$165 is the max we can bill rate here… trying to stay at $150
