Talent Sourcing Senior Partner
12 Month Contract – potential to extend longer/convert

Must Have:

  • Covid-19 vaccination required if ever going onsite
  • 3+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • An understanding of how to utilize new sources of candidates 
  • Biotech industry experience, specifically in research or data technology; with insights in to the recruiting landscape, challenges, and opportunities

Preferred:

  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining multiple sourcing and recruiting strategies resulting in the engagement of passive candidates
  • A growth mindset and proven ability to think of creative solutions, Strong relationship-building and partnership skills
  • Experience setting and managing realistic expectations with stakeholders including recruiters, human resources and hiring managers

Job Summary:

With exciting transformation and growth underway, Vertex is building a talent sourcing capability focused on Cell & Genetic Therapies & Research, Pharmaceutical, and Preclinical Sciences. (RPPS).  The Senior Talent Sourcing Lead is a key member of the TA and team and reports into the Sourcing Leader.  As this Research organization continues to invest in multiple disease areas, this person will rapidly build talent pipelines.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Build talent pipelines through referral generation, sourcing campaigns, talent branding efforts, and other creative channels

  • Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data, and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies

  • Understand and map the talent landscape, internal calibration, referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply

  • Leverage talent intelligence, talent mapping, and competitive landscape

  • Attend professional conferences and events; implement conference strategy including event planning, pre-conference candidate outreach and post-conference follow-up
