Job Summary:

Seeking for an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition to join our Global Human Resources Team. Associate Director is a key leader within the Talent Acquisition, responsible for strategy and execution of TA initiatives for the US market. The ideal candidate should be adept at balancing strategic perspective with meeting the immediate hiring demands of a growing global biotech company. The scope of this role includes all facets of the talent acquisition life cycle, spanning but not limited to resource planning, employment branding, strategic sourcing, talent selection and onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with function/region HR and business leaders to understand the workforce plan and develop and execute hiring strategies to align appropriately.
  • Implement localized branding and attraction strategies to support TA initiatives and to raise awareness of the company among target talent populations.
  • Identify and enact broad based outreach recruitment plans to ensure that the company’s opportunities are highly visible
  • Responsible for all activities within a full life cycle recruiting from direct sourcing to onboarding.
  • Building strong pipelines to fill requisition demand for the function/region.
  • Effective ambassador of the company and can easily translate company’s scientific and business vision and operating culture into a compelling value proposition to prospective talent of interest to the company
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with cross functional work groups and will lead critical TA projects end to end to elevate TA’s functional strength.
  • Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are achieved across all function/region recruitment activity
  • Educate hiring managers on best practices conducive to attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent
  • Establish and report hiring metrics to gauge degree of recruitment effectiveness
  • Develop position descriptions and partner with HR colleagues to ensure appropriate targeted compensation
  • Establish and manage employee referral program and applicant tracking system to ensure compliance to state and federal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of work experience in Human Resources or related degree preferred.
  • 7 plus years of Talent Acquisition experience with proven results in full lifecycle recruiting environments.
  • Biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to implement talent acquisition strategies to elevate and deliver a groundbreaking candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing, recruiting, and branding strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the business.
  • Experienced in operating with minimal direction in a dynamic environment as a leader of transformation.
  • Proven experience in developing strong relationships through establishing trust and credibility with colleagues.
  • Track record of strong performance in high growth operating environment.
  • Experience in working with global teams is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
