Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Serve as the trusted advisor and coach in areas of organizational development, talent
management, engagement, rewards and change management. Utilize consulting skills
to influence, coach and provide feedback to employees at all levels. Develop and
implement strategies for employees and the organization that help Editas to reach its
strategic goals.
• Develop and implement innovative approaches to build engagement and a strong
• Serve as an executive coach and sounding board for leaders across the organization
helping to develop individual leaders and leadership.
• Employee Relations- identify, advise and help resolve conflicts to maintain and/or
positive working relationships. Maintain a close connection to and awareness of staff
engagement and morale levels to ensure employees are able to perform at their best.
• Build scalable learning and organizational development programs that support
growing Editas’ capabilities and drive employee retention. Conduct needs
assessments for the organization's current workforce to determine types of training
and development needed improving skill gaps and qualifications.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to ensure the successful
acquisition and integration of new Editors in a rapidly growing and evolving
• Lead key organizational processes and projects on behalf of the Enterprise.
• Operate as a role model and culture ambassador within the organization –
maintaining a “pulse” on the organization, proactively bringing perspectives forward,
offering balanced and mature perspective and advice to Editors, and inspiring self and
others to actively live the Editas values.

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
• Experience with program development from strategy to execution
• Effective influencing and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization, be a strong
contributing team member, and drive a sense of teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent operational skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A proven track record of aligning HR goals and objectives with businesses goals,
combined with a strong understanding of business concepts and key business drivers
• Dynamic, resourceful self-starter who can work independently and drive results

Education & Relevant Work Experience:
• Prior experience working in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry or
another fast-paced, high growth industry
• Preference for candidates who have HR experience in both large and small companies
• Minimum 15 years progressive Human Resources experience with specific experience
in organizational development and effectiveness, talent management, performance
management, coaching, employee relations, culture, employee engagement,
compensation & benefits and recruiting
• Bachelor's degree required, Masters level or equivalent preferred
