Location: Wauwatosa, WI – Onsite

Hours: M-F 8hrs/day – 40hrs/wk

Must Haves:

  • HS diploma
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable
  • At least 1 yr professional experience


  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system a plus
  • General office, Customer Service, Accounting or Teller experience preferred

Job Description/Overview:
Responsible for several key Accounts Receivable activities including the timely and accurate posting of customer payments, daily lockbox balancing and re-work, Accounts Receivable maintenance such as clearings/offsets, manual customer refunds, debit/credit/warranty credits, and the administration of customer statements. The position also provides general support for Credit Risk with the preparation of documents related to International Letters of Credit as well as the Dealer Close-out process.

  • Responsibilities:

    -Executes all functions related to the application of customer payment
    Researches, analyzes and resolves any payment or cash application discrepancies or issues
    -Responsible for daily lockbox balancing, lockbox re-work as well as manual application of wire transfers, ACH and other forms of payment
    -Performs customer account maintenance as requested including Accounts Receivable clearings/offsets, customer refund requests and processing of debit/credit/warranty/service returns documents as needed
    -Ensures proper new account set up and customer master data including the maintenance of change requests
    -Supports the Credit Risk team with timely and accurate processing of International Letters of Credit
    -Supports the Dealer close-out process by completing assigned tasks accurately and within established timeframes; works closely with each assigned Accounts Receivable Analyst to ensure a smooth close-out process for the dealer
    -Supports the Dealer Accounts Receivable team by processing GE Interest billing to Accounts Payable
    -Processes monthly late payment fees/interest charges as required
    -Handles the review of Transfer/RGA requests and Price or Incorrect Billing (FRT) corrections
    -Handles invoicing/billing errors (VFX3/VF04) as requested and resolves e-mail invoice failures
    -Scans clearing documents/check backup as well as credit files into Onbase
    -Handles the processing of month end customer statements (sends electronically and follows up on failures)
    -Assists with audit requests as needed
    -Provides reporting as requested
    -Supports department projects as needed
    -Ensures full compliance with the Global Credit Policy and other Finance/Corporate policies, internal controls and the Sarbanes Oxley Act
    -Must be willing to work periodic overtime as required

    -Ability to function independently as well as in a dead-line driven environment
    -Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
    -Must be able to interface with all internal departments and all levels throughout the organization
    -Good PC Skills with experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
    -Experience with SAP or similar ERP system a plus
    -Ability to make basic math computations (e.g. Sum, Average, etc.)
    -Minimum of one year professional experience in the credit or customer service field
    -General office, Customer Service, Accounting or Teller experience preferred
