The Director of FP&A will oversee the global FP&A team and will play a critical role in leading the FP&A organization to continue to be a business partner and provide thought leadership across the Company. The Director will be responsible for driving a culture of accountability, and provide insight-driven reporting and analytics to drive actionable decisions across our business units and sales teams globally. This position will also closely collaborate with business leaders in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.

 

Job Responsibilities:

? Manage the global Annual Budget and Quarterly forecast processes

? Partner with the business and develop/disseminate targeted KPI reports across the organization that will support corporate strategic goals and enterprise value creation

? Regularly re-assess and refine processes, KPI’s and reporting packages across the organization.

? Galvanize the company around a standard set of metrics to drive value

? Focus on leading indicators and actionable insights

? Generate accurate and timely data and analytics that ensures a ‘single source of truth’

? Melding top-down strategic priorities with bottom-up accountability. Drive a culture of accountability across the global organization

? Create written process maps for regular processes and regularly challenge them for efficiency ? Incorporate strategic innovation – i.e. new reporting techniques and metrics – into employee development plans

? Regularly meet with business leaders to review monthly performance metrics, maximize strategic insight and minimize bloat

? Provide direction and guidance for team members, project stakeholders, and senior leaders as needed

? Develop short-term and long-term plans and strategies for financial analysis

? Establish operational objectives for executives, team members and/or stakeholders

? Advise executives and senior leaders on company budgets, forecasts, accounting issues and other finance related implications

? Serve as a business partner to executives and senior management in the financial evaluation of objectives, recommendations and alternatives

? Analyze data from transactional databases

? Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other team members, stakeholders and clients through electronic-messaging/phone

? Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

? Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent

? 10+ years of directly related experience

? Global/multinational experience required

? Ability to analyze results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions

? Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

? Financial and economic modeling skills required

? Demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting principles and procedures

? Proven time and project management ability while working with cross-functional stakeholders ? Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

? Strong ability to prioritize, delegate and multitask in a fast-paced environment

? Exceptional eye for detail in addition to negotiation, analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
