BROAD FUNCTION: 

The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for inventory management, order flow and  customer experience for our consumer channel. This role is directly responsible for channel  exclusive product supply, increasing productivity, driving operational efficiency, and managing  marketplace inventory. As the consumer marketing team is located outside the central supply chain  reporting structure – an ability to partner with and drive results without direct reporting lines is  critical. This includes close interactions with supply chain, marketing operations, fulfillment,  shipping and consumer customer service teams.  

Who we’re looking for: 

In this role the candidate will be responsible for liaising and leading supply demands between the  digital, brand and external fulfillment teams, as well as managing day-to-day general operations and  planning support as assigned. You will already have great project management skills coupled with  your highly organized, conscientious approach. This role is key in transforming the communication  across multiple departments and partners to ensure consistent supply, inventory updates and  operational enhancements.  

What you’ll do: 

• Consolidate, manage and communicate key operational metrics including item availability,  on-time and in-full delivery, etc. 

• Account for and maintain proper inventory levels with third party fulfillment partner • Partner with supply chain on production planning for channel exclusive SKUs while  organizing and managing execution with third party partner 

• Inventory management, and related support coordinating product level awareness with  consumer and digital investments

• Oversee the day-to-day consumer website updates and technical enhancements, including  order process enhancements, subscription programs, etc. 

• Lead and manage packaging options with fulfillment partner in collaboration with the Label  and Global Creative Services team 

• Monitor and track SKU level sales data, returns and fraudulent orders, and logistics  performance (i.e. fill rate) 

• Manage customer satisfaction by informing Consumer Customer Service team of supply and  order related challenges as they arise with talking points to handle consumer inquiries 

Desired skills and experience: 

• Bachelor's degree required; business or supply chain is highly preferred • A minimum five (5+) years of overall consumer marketing experience with a minimum of  3 years in inventory management and/or supply chain 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and  non-technical terms 

• A strong understanding of all aspects of a large online retailer, including links to store  operations, infrastructure, client relations, marketing, promotion, fulfillment and  customer service 

• Proven project management skills in managing multiple, large-scale eCommerce  initiatives 

• Experience working closely with multiple business functions to influence strategic  agendas and operationalize initiatives.
