  • Fund Audit Control Team – Client Lead As a Fund Audit Control Team Client Lead, you will oversee the mutual fund accounting books and records of several large, complex funds and/or a group of funds. The position ensures the firm's clients’ auditors receive accurate and timely data and serves as a point of contact throughout the financial statement audit cycle. Highly experienced team who work collaboratively to successfully meet our clients’ needs during high stress financial statement audits each reporting period.   • Key responsibilities include: • Follow internal team controls leading up to a reporting cycle. • As part of the oversight and control responsibilities, ensure the accuracy of the company reporting through analysis tools, and timely delivery of reporting externally following agreed upon deadlines.• Field and respond to client and auditor inquiries and escalated issues; serve as the point person for your assigned senior level client and auditor contacts.• Coordinate and follow up on audit meetings and deliverables.• Work closely with internal clients (operations teams) to ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and improvement of service levels.• Develop key internal relationships to proactively aid in the resolution of client issues.
  • Qualifications:• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in similar role.• Excellent Communication skills. • Experienced in mutual fund accounting activities and have a strong understanding of annual audit aspects such as position queries, income queries and a strong understanding of the general ledgers.• Someone who can successfully manage audit cycles for new clients, challenging engagements and build a relationship for future success• The ability to easily balances competing demands on your time including balancing the needs of the team with their individual responsibilities • Should be highly team oriented, committed to operating in the best interests of the company and the team. • Strong attention to detail, level of commitment and transparency with the internal teams.
