The duties of a Project Coordinator in the Customer Energy Management (CEM) organization are to provide direct support of customer-initiated work requests. Project Coordinators are the company's main point of contact and liaison for new service and alteration requests; coordinating and negotiating with the customer and internal departments to satisfy various requirements and processes internal to the company that are required for moving a job to completion, start through finish
Project coordinators must be well-organized, capable of working under pressure, and able to multitask. Attention to detail and a patient demeanor are also important. Candidates should be familiar with software such as Microsoft Excel and have the ability to learn and interact with internal project management tools and programs . Work is done both in an office environment as well as in the field. Some local travel will be required.
An Associates degree in Contruction Mgt. or a Business field is preferred for this position. In lieu of degree, 2+ years experience working in construction, the electrical field or a business field in an environment that is customer facing would be considered.
