South San Francisco, CA – Onsite with the possibility of hybrid schedule once they ramp up
3-6 Month Contract – Depending on budget & candidate

Position Purpose:

You will play an integral part in our success by scaling and improving our corporate finance functions, driving financial planning processes, and working with various business partners to develop strategic analyses on key business initiatives. This role will have high visibility across the executive and senior leadership team and will require you to solve the most complex and interesting challenges.


  • 8 or 10+ years of experience (pending whether it’s Sr. Manager or Director) in Corporate or Strategic Finance in publicly traded companies
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management. MBA, CFA, and/or CPA is a plus.
  • Capable of successfully managing C-level relationships and effectively partnering on financial planning and strategy development and execution
  • Expert in developing insightful financial models, providing quantitative analysis, strong critical thinking, and business judgment skills
  • Motivated self-started with track record of success
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and driving multiple projects and activities, strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and effective cross-functional collaborator
  • Experience using financial systems, including skill with ERP and budgeting tools


  • Serve as strategic, business partner to the leadership team on a wide range of financial, strategic, and operational initiatives.
  • Drive key corporate reporting requirements to the Board of Directors and Executive Team
  • Drive high-impact strategic and operational initiatives and deliver business analytics and insights to support decision making related to unit economics, customer acquisition, operations, core business expansion, and new opportunities
  • Help drive the company’s annual planning and budgeting process, long term plan and overall financial model.
  • Apply a data-driven analytical approach to influence decision making and support company leadership in evaluating strategic initiatives
  • Interface with peers to evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short and long-term strategic and operational plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive performance across the business in areas of topline growth and operating leverage.
  • Develop and review financial and operating plans. Evaluate business performance relative to expectations. Provide financial and business decision support and develop and evaluate new growth opportunities.
  • Partner across the finance and operations teams to ensure an accurate consolidated view, while driving best practices and collaboration.
  • Help drive best practices, benchmarking, and frameworks for driving growth at scale.
