Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist

Direct Hire

Job Location: remote / Needham

Hours: 40 hours/week

  • Experience from a fast paced undustry (ex. financial tech, engineering, sales organizations, media, software, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Understand culture and values. This is a key to future success.
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clearly understand the requirements for each recruiting assignment; develop a deep understanding of the team’s dynamics, how the role and its team contribute to the overall company goals, and how to position the role to attract and retain “A” players.?
  • Source qualified candidates, review resumes, and pre-screen candidates while moving the interview process forward.
  • Ensure an outstanding experience for every candidate who interviews.
  • Continually deepen relationships with hiring managers to become an integral partner who directly impacts their success.
  • Participate in events and functions that expand relationships with targeted talent pools and enhance employment brand.
  • Become an expert with recruiting tools and ATS.
  • Assist with other recruiting/TA & onboarding activities as needed, especially in the traditionally quieter months for recruitment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience executing multiple full lifecycle recruiting assignments.
  • Proven success creating and implement sourcing strategies utilizing various tools and techniques.
  • “Hunter mentality” that quickly and proactively targets, engages, and closes top talent.
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent; disciplined strategy to source, engage, and nurture prospective candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust & relationships with internal customers and candidates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in building and managing a diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks/goals in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Prior Technical recruiting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with iCims ATS preferred.

Why open: they are busy!  

Location: 100% remote for now but in the Northeast

*This could change down the line however they are open to hiring someone 100% remote forever if someone is willing to travel to the office once in awhile.

*Commutable to Needham, MA is ideal but not required

*Must be within Northeast.

*CANNOT hire in RI, VT – no licensed to do so
 

COVID: not requiring vaccines as of now however that may change.

Hours: 40 hours

 

Backstory:

*reports to: HR BP

*Team of 6 – no one does recruiting full time. Everyone also does some other HR work.

*volume: 10-12 reqs immediately. Will be cyclicle, sometimes could only have 1-2 and will be doing other HR work.

*roles: sales, marketing engineering – wants someone who has done a but of everything.

*Ideally wants someone who wants/has done other facets of HR as well.  Ideal candidate is lighter (3 years’ ish). Ok with someone they have to train who ius like 70-80 range, ok to go up to 100K.

*This company has excellent retention. Most of HR has been there for as long as I’ve been with WW/Planet (almost 10 years). They appreciate employees and do what they can to keep them.
