The Manager, Accounting and Reporting, is responsible for accounting; analysis and operations support related accounting and reporting activities.


  • Works closely with the broader Accounting and Reporting team to ensure accurate month end reporting, controls compliance, coordination of close process and preparation of materials for review of financials with management.
  • Ensures Reporting and Accounting process designs are consistent with best practice and aligned with the Global Reporting and Accounting standards
  • Ensures all key topics are raised proactively and aligned with stakeholders to minimize surprises.
  • Oversees monthly close activities and data validation analysis including BSR and FcRS reporting package.
  • Ensures timelines, productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Reviews account reconciliations; validate reasonableness of account balances, ensure support for open items, document action plans, track and resolve aged items, and escalate pending issues as necessary.
  • Drives process/ continuous improvement initiatives in Accounting and Reporting.
  • Ensures accounting policies, processes and operating procedures are clearly defined, in line with Group standards, up to date and documented.
  • Ensures all processes performed comply with standards and policies (e.g. global processes, Accounting Manual, Financial Controls Manual, Management Authorization Levels).
  • Supports fact-based decision making.
  • Pressure test and challenge business initiatives and assumptions on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all relevant compliance policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, CIA, Data Privacy, SOX) and ensure compliance in all job activities.
  • Ensures proper accounting of expense recognition for the business.
  • Other related job duties as assigned.


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Experience maintaining fixed assets in a manufacturing company required.
  • ERP Experience required.
  • 4 years of accounting experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, including direct experience with SOX compliance.
  • Advanced abilities in Excel.
  • Pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred.

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting
