We are seeking an energetic, organized and highly motivated individual to provide support to our finance, corporate accounting, and reporting functions as well as accounting for a family office.

This role will focus on accounting functions and running month-end and quarterly close procedures. S/he will help institute systems to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks and reporting.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid command for general finance and accounting procedures. They will ensure our finance procedures and accounting transactions comply with the law and support our company’s growth, while effectively communicating across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be flexible in growing within this role, the team, and the company. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will be able to envision, articulate, and execute a strong plan for the organizational success of the company’s accounting function.

Primary responsibilities shall include the following:

For Corporate Accounting

? Manage treasury functions including AP and AR management, cash reconciliations and cash flow projections through use of Microsoft Dynamics

? Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including a brokerdealer registered with FINRA

? Prepare general ledger journal entries, maintain records and files, and reconcile accounts

? Handle month-end accounting close process

? Prepare budget to actual reports

? Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to accounting transactions

? Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes

? Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time

? Ability to translate financial statements into meaningful management reports

Family Office Accounting:

? Maintain family office accounts payable, including multiple mortgages, households,

insurance policies, credit cards and taxes

? Maintain detailed and organized records of all household related billing

? Performing special projects and ad-hoc requests

Specific Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field from a competitive school is required

? CPA strongly preferred

? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Dynamics GP is required

? Basic understanding of partnership and individual tax preferred

? Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP

? Public accounting experience a plus

? Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and prioritization skills

? Strong written/verbal communication skills

? Tenacious in meeting deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and good self management discipline

? Self-driver and able to work independently; but seeks feedback/advice when faced with a roadblock
