A non-profit organization with offices in the Bronx and Brooklyn is looking to hire a permanent HR Manager. The individual in this role will coordinate and oversee all functions of the HR department including: benefits, payroll, new hire onboarding, answering employee questions, ensuring compliance across the organization, running weekly reports through benefits portal, tracking/assigning training courses to employees as needed (diversity, harassment, etc.), and more. The person in this role will be responsible for both oversight and day to day hands on HR Administrative functions.
*3 years+ experience of well-rounded HR work
*Previous leadership / management experience
*Comfortable handling a wide range of administrative and clerical HR work
*Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate degree in Human Resources
*Any relevant HR certifications (PHR, etc.)
*Experience in non-profit environment
