This position plays the role of strategic partner and consultant to management on human resources-related topics. The HRBP will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and communicates proactively with HR and business management, developing creative, purpose-built, integrated solutions.



  • Develops partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

  • Serves as a consultant and adviser to leaders in the effective management of their workforce through creating, communicating, and consistently applying performance development best practices. This includes consistently applying performance management best practices, supporting workforce planning, talent assessments, career path and development planning, promoting a top-performance culture, and managing underperformance

  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems, and attending team meetings for designated departments

  • Partners with employees and management to outline and communicate various human resource policies, procedures laws, standards and government regulations. Recommends policy enhancements that further HR and organizational initiatives

  • Assures company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout the company

  • Conducts exit meetings, collects and analyzes turnover data, and communicates to management

  • Consults with managers and staff on employee relations issues, conducts investigations, and makes recommendations in response to management and staff concerns

  • Coordinates work-related injuries, work restrictions, and safety matters

  • Leads discussions and trains managers on various HR-related topics

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Leads training and facilitates discussion groups with managers and employees on various topics related to talent and culture



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or HR certification a plus.

  • 5+years of Human Resources Generalist experience

  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders

  • Excellent communication skills, in both written, verbal, and presentation form

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures

  • Tech forward, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong HRIS skills (ADP Workforce Now preferred experience preferred), and use of collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)

  • Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks

  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work with big data and zoom in to the details

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and dedication to customer service – a “Can Do” team player!

  • International experience and/or bilingual a plus

  • Presentation and facilitation experience
