Job Summary

Mainly, the candidate needs to have excellent communication skills, be bright, professional, and prompt. 

  • Kickoff Leadership Initiative Committee
  • Launch and facilitate fellowship and grant recruitment and selection process
  • Re-up coaches and launch their office hours (if continuing)
  • Work with coaches to plan and facilitate biweekly fellowship/grant leadership development sessions
  • Plan and facilitate orientation for 1Ls and LLMs
  • Administer baseline survey (likely in connection with orientation for 1Ls and LLMs)
  • Get case studies on website, email thanks to subjects, send to Committee, CLS Communications Department
  • Check in with the dean of admissions re: LEAD Fellows and plan/facilitate intro session as necessary
  • Refresh DPLI website
  • Create strategic plan for the year and corresponding budget for the year
  • Set meeting cadence for co-chairs, Committee, etc.; plan and implement meetings
  • Responding to questions from students as they come in
  • Check with assistant director of admissions, re: Summer Information Sessions and plan/facilitate as necessary
