A food and safety company seeks a Contract Payroll Coordinator for a 6 month assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent employee.

Must Haves:

  • 1-2 years payroll experience 


  • Multistate payroll experience
  • Paycom experience

Job Summary/Description:

  • Payroll preparation and processing for 170 employees nationally
  • Compile and record employee time and payroll data
  • Prepare payroll for the finance team
  • Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, payroll adjustments, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
  • Manage employee wages, deductions, and employee data in the payroll system
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records
