The Senior Financial Analyst – Operations Finance position is a highly visible role providing support to Hayward Manufacturing, iDepot and Site Supply Chain business leaders. This position requires an ability to be adaptable to fast changing business/operational conditions, while providing timely and accurate analytics and reporting to Finance and Operations management. Strong cross-functional collaboration, ability to influence across the organization as well as possession of outstanding analytical skills are required. The ideal candidate will be a proven individual contributor with a track record and drive to create an impact in the relationship with the business partners he/she supports. The candidate needs to have an in-depth knowledge of Operations Finance, Cost Accounting concepts, inventory, absorption, variances, applicable US GAAP accounting standards and manufacturing acumen.
All About You
Responsibilities are, but not limited to below:
Provide end to end financial close and business partners support such as but not limited to work order reviews, headcount planning, financial analysis and forecast, CAPEX, monthly reporting, financial modeling and any ad hoc tasks Prepare and monitor weekly OPEX, variances, volume and absorption scorecard against forecast. Identify any financial accounting risks and take appropriate actions if necessary Understand and provide deep insights on Hayward Manufacturing scorecard and assist business partners to understand financial impact and to improve manufacturing efficiency Identify, implement, improve and maintain any value-add processes in manufacturing and operations; new product releases, inventory controls, BOM, routings, key performance metrics and automation Lead and engage with Manufacturing and Supply Chain on Annual Global Cost Roll; BOM, routings review and calculate absorption rate Perform WIP inventory physical audit and prepare quarterly WIP inventory roll forward analysis to ensure our Inventory Internal Controls compliance requirements. Support quarterly and annual audits by both Internal and External Auditors. Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley documentation audit and lead schedules Lead the maintenance of internal financial control environment ensuring accurate financial statements and safeguarding of company assets
Focal person for Engineering Change Requests (ECR) review, perform product costing support and approval. Perform and support any other tasks as needed Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years in Operations Finance and Cost Accounting Strong hands-on experience with SAP is preferred; exposure to Cognos TM1 is a plus Successful track record of effectively interfacing with manufacturing personnel to identify, support, and execute on value-added ideas to improve efficiency Attention to detail, strong analytical background, ability to influence cross functionally and solve complex problems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; must be comfortable working with and analyzing large data files Education:
BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA a plus
