·         Providing all aspects of administrative support to the Child Protection Program (CPP) multidisciplinary team responding to requests for those services. The CPP is a program designated to provide child maltreatment clinical intervention, clinical consultation, training, and advocacy at Boston Children’s Services.

·         Initial telephone interface with caregivers, outside community providers, hospital staff, state agency staff and others seeking appointments in our outpatient clinics and/or connection to our consultation staff regarding child maltreatment concerns.

·         Weekly Redcap audit reports for CPP Social Work consultants regarding consult entries. This requires taking classes on Redcap, running reports on trends, and timely notification of consultants regarding any overdue documentation.

·         Preparation of monthly reports for the Senior Director of Social Work, under the guidance of the CPP Program Director, regarding work product utilizing Redcap data.

·         Creation of monthly and annual service reports for hospital grant with the Department of Children and Families. Storage of DCF contract documents CPP files.

·         Scheduling patients for outpatient clinic appointments and working closely with outpatient clinical coordinator regarding all aspects of scheduling and insurance.

·         Maintenance of CPP-sponsored continuing education related administrative paperwork, booking venues and emailing distribution lists regarding trainings and CEU participation.

·         Oversight for the purchase, provision, documentation for and distribution of supplies.

·         Submission of staff payroll into Kronos system.

·         Entering the monthly on-call Child Protection 24/7 schedule into the WebX online calendar. 

·         Participation in various program-specific projects to support CPP Program Director and CPP staff relative to program development initiatives.

Qualifications (degree, past experience):

·         High school diploma required, some post high school education preferred

·         2+ years of administrative experience required – healthcare preferred, not required

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office required

·         Willingness to learn Redcap (will do classes through BCH)

·         Experience with Kronos and/or SharePoint a plus, not required

Previous employees in department have been temp-to-perm, so there is room there if positions are approved.

Office generally pretty quiet, occasional people coming into the desk, but not often.
