We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help our company find and retain excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees. To excel in this role, we expect you to be experienced in full-cycle recruiting and employment branding, along with a background in broader people operations. You should have a sharp eye for talented people and a steady commitment to help employees find success in our company. The job of Talent Acquisition and People Operations is important to our business success. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our mission.

Responsibilities

• Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts
• Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
• Lead employment branding initiatives
• Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
• Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
• Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
• Assist in employee retention and development
• Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Develop and monitor overall People Operations strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Requirements

• People-oriented and results-driven
• Proven experience as talent acquisition specialist in a Life Sciences company
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
• Understanding of selection methods and techniques
• Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
• Ability to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• A leader and strategic thinker
• BSc/BA in business administration, human resources, or another relevant field
