Scope of Responsibilities:
• This position will be responsible for handling all accounts receivable and deduction management aspects of his/her assigned accounts and supporting the Customer Account Administrators with daily job functions.
o Apply customer’s payment to open invoices accurately and in a timely manner
o Manage deductions to insure they are resolved in a timely manner. This requires communicating with other departments and outside sources to obtain the proper documentation in order to validate and close deductions
o Communicate and work with the customers to resolve any discrepancies that arise during cash application and deduction management
o Assist Customer Account Administrator with obtaining documentation for deductions
o Process Trade Investment Fund claims in order to close open deductions or issue payments to direct bill customers
o Work with the sales force regarding the validity/performance of claims
o Work with other departments in coordinating deduction resolution
o Special projects as assigned
This candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, professional in written and verbal communication; good math skills, strong organizational and time management skills.
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma and business-related experience. Related experience within job function is preferred.
