The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecast, annual budget, long range plan, and ad hoc analysis for business partners across the firm. This is a hands-on role with an emphasis on performing financial analysis that provides management with insights needed to make strategic decisions. A strong communicator and team player, this role will work closely with peers in Finance & Accounting and across the business to build strong and collaborative partnerships. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a Finance partner to actively monitor business units’ financial results and support business leaders in achieving overall financial goals.

  • Serve as a Finance partner to regional leaders in providing financial reporting and analysis and support firm’s global expansion plans.

  • Effectively interface with stakeholders to understand and report upon key financial indicators and trends as well as budgeting and forecasting implications.

  • Assist in various aspects of firmwide annual budgeting, long range planning, and ongoing forecasting processes.

  • Partner with peers in Accounting, General Ledger and FP&A teams to coordinate monthly close and ensure all actuals and forecasts are reflected in financial reporting.

  • Develop and maintain accurate and consistent financial reports and streamline processes to improve efficiency.

  • Provide financial ad-hoc support as needed to develop business case modeling and provide strategic decision support. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of FP&A / budgeting / forecasting experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar discipline.

  • Ability to take initiative and execute independently once directions are clear.

  • Proven expertise in financial modeling and data analytics.

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data in a concise and clear manner.

  • Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Experienced user of Oracle/SmartView planning/forecasting tools.

  • Global financial reporting experience is a plus.

  • Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships and build trust across a team environment

  • Service orientated with motivation to serve and support stakeholders.

  • Team orientation, sharing information with supervisor, peers, and leadership to build understanding

  • Ability to adapt, learn quickly and work on multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines
