Provide project coordination to deliver on internal projects of various size and impact. Utilize project management tools (such as stakeholder analysis, action plans, visual management, etc.) to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion. Align internal stakeholders across business areas. Use data and other information to inform project priorities. Communicate project status, risks, and wins to all stakeholders.
Project coordinators must be well-organized, capable of working under pressure, and able to multitask, and attention to detail and a patient demeanor are also important. They should also be familiar with software such as Microsoft Excel, and a bachelor's degree in business or communications is generally required for this position. Work is usually done in an office environment, though some travel may occasionally be required.
