Purpose Provide onboarding and administrative support to the Human Resources Department including non-exempt recruiting, benefits administration, training and New Hire/Temp/Contractor Orientation.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Recruiting a. Facilitate employment recruiting and contracting processes for non-exempt positions i. Source candidates for open non-exempt positions ii. Screen, evaluate and reference non-exempt candidates iii. Represent Company at recruiting events as needed including job fairs, on-campus recruiting and informational meetings iv. Notify Technology department of set-ups for non-exempt temporary staff using the ticketing system v. Conduct exempt references in the absence of the Senior Representative 2. Employee Relations a. Maintain open communication with employees b. Appropriately communicate employee issues, concerns and complaints timely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards with the Director and/or Coordinator 3. Update the Open Position Listing for non-exempt positions 4. Assist with facilitation of company training programs 5. Administration a. As requested, communicate company documents, policies, procedures and standards as they apply to Human Resources b. Assist with compliance of company policies, procedures and standards c. Communicate employee benefits as required i. Administer benefits in accordance with company policy ii. Respond to all benefit inquiries in a timely manner 6. Legal a. Ensure compliance with all county, state and federal requirements including FMLA, ADA, Data Privacy and HIPAA b. Appropriately communicate issues with the Director and/or Coordinator 7. Facilitate New Hire Orientation as scheduled 8. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in relevant to this position

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Computer Skills Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required. Experience One to two years related experience preferred. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
