Our Client is seeking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional with the ability to see the big picture, the drive to develop and institutionalize processes that will bring the finance function to the next level, while effectively managing various team members and resources across the world. To be considered for this position, you will need to be an executer, have a proven experience in managing multi-currency financials and supporting global corporate audits.
Corporate Controller Responsibilities:
Manage daily, month end, quarter end and year end accounting, including general ledger entries and sub ledger entries in a manner supporting a multi-currency system and in compliance with the US GAAP and with local accounting standards.
Manage federal, state, and local tax filings across three regions
Manage and provide direct support for corporate and local (tax) audits
Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual results
Coordinate collections from customers, and timely vendor payments
Assist in preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and other corporate meetings
Support and oversee the bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities for the company, including but not limited to: revenue recognition, internal controls and processes, cash management and accounting systems.
Management of corporate liquidity
Work with auditing firm to lead financial audits
Corporate Controller Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent
8+ years of financial or accounting experience with management of diverse global teams in dynamic environments
Experience using NetSuite, Concur, Bill.com, Salesforce, E-Shares or similar systems
Highly self-motivated with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work comfortably in an evolving environment
