Looking for an Public Records Assistant on a contract basis! This position will assist the Public Records Coordinator with all aspects of responding to the many public records requests that the department receives on a weekly basis, including communicating with requestors; tracking requests received; determining the necessary documents to respond to the request; redacting documents; and preparing written correspondence. The person in this position should have general admin experience who has familiarity with Adobe Pro and the various Microsoft Office programs. Experience with redacting documents would be a bonus. This person should also be comfortable with communicating and corresponding with external stakeholders and have strong organizational skills.

Must Haves:

  • 1 year of experience with MS Office
  • 1 year of experience with Adobe Pro

Preferred:

  • Adobe Pro redacting skills
