The Learning & Development Manager acts as a consultant who’s responsible for supporting the professional development, engagement, and diversity, inclusion and belonging (DI&B) activities for employees in support of the company’s mission and culture. This individual will design and deliver experiences; partner with vendors; and provide internal consulting and coaching support. Program Management

  • Apply best learning practices and manage offerings of professional development, engagement, and DI&B programs and experiences
  • Develop content/solutions, individually and in partnership with external providers
  • Manage professional development records for data management and reporting
  • Manage communications and marketing to support employee learning and engagement
  • Monitor progress related to employee engagement

Internal Consulting

  • Consult with employees and managers to identify learning needs
  • Support implementation and deployment of engagement surveys
  • Assess, develop, implement and evaluate efforts to drive employee engagement

Design and Delivery

  • Develop training, engagement, DI&B, and onboarding programs and experiences
  • Maximize opportunities to integrate HBP content into training and learning activities


  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles; experience with instructional design and training delivery
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; engaging presentation style; strong group facilitation
  • Strong organizational and program management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently; attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships across the organization with all levels of staff
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities
  • Able to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Curious, creative, and sees change as an exciting opportunity
